Mechanical override brakes can be fitted to any of the tandem models seen on this page.
By adding the brakes to the trailer, you would be entitled to a larger towing capacity.
Electrical brakes are also available and range from 1.2 tonne, 2.0 tonne, 2.5 tonne, 2.8 tonne, 3.0 tonne and 3.5 tonne.
On all trailers fitted with brakes, the braking axle is increased to a 40mm square axle to help prevent axle torque (increases strength and safety).
